Assistant Director at National Infrastructure Commission

Joanna is an Assistant Director at the National Infrastructure Commission, an organisation established to provide advice to government on how to address long-term infrastructure challenges. She leads the Commission’s work on energy policy including managing its programme of work leading towards the next National Infrastructure Assessment in 2023. This Assessment will outline recommendations to government on actions needed to meet the long term objective of a decarbonised and secure energy system. She also led production of the Commission’s 2021 recommendations to government on the role for engineered greenhouse gas removals. Prior to joining the Commission she held roles in utilities infrastructure and regulation across the public and private sector.
