Daniel FletcherHead of Global Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) portfolio at bp
Daniel Fletcher is head of bp’s global Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) portfolio. In this role, he is responsible for developing bp’s existing CCUS businesses and origination of new CCUS business across the globe, including CO2 shipping.
Daniel is passionate about developing energy and people and has worked in the energy industry for over a decade across a variety of technical, commercial and leadership roles in the upstream and midstream sectors. Including most recently, leadership roles in bp’s low carbon transformation programme and bp’s West Africa gas business.
He is a regular guest lecturer at the University of Oxford Blavatnik School of Government’s Executive Course on Oil Gas and Mining Governance.
Prior to joining BP, Daniel worked for Centrica in the power sector and as an analyst for investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort. Daniel holds a First-Class Honours degree and Master of Science in Physics from Royal Holloway, University of London.
