Instrumental in the inception and development of HyNet, the UK’s leading Industrial Decarbonisation Cluster. Formed Vertex Hydrogen, developing the UK’s most advanced large scale low carbon hydrogen facility. With Cadent conceived, developed and overseeing management of HyDeploy, the world-leading hydrogen to grid project.
A long track record in renewables, particularly biomass and waste derived biofuels, unlocking GGR projects being delivered in HyNet. He sits on the Ministerial Hydrogen Advisory Council and is Chair of the Supergen Bioenergy Hub Advisory Board, holds a number of patents and is author of scientific and technical papers. Chris spent the early part of his career with Ove Arup and AEA Technology at Harwell and holds a Doctorate from the University of Oxford & Engineering Masters from the University of Cambridge.
