Tom Merriman is the Chief Product Officer and co-founder ofKita, the carbon insurance specialist. Kita’s purpose is acceleratinginvestment in high quality carbon sequestration projects through the provisionof insurance that reduces transaction risk and safeguards the performance ofcarbon credit investments. Prior to founding Kita, Tom spent 15 years incapital markets working for the financial technology companies Bloomberg andNasdaq. During this time, Tom also completed three master's degrees: Finance(Cranfield), Information Systems (LSE), and Climate Change (Birkbeck).
