SoerenReinhold Poulsen holds a M.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering. He has beenworking within the Oil and Gas Upstream business for more than 25 years inDenmark and internationally. Started as a drilling engineer, transitioned intobecoming a Reservoir Engineer and has during the last 15 years been involved inlarge capital projects within project management and general Asset management.During the recent 3 years main focus has been on INEOS Energy’s CCS activitiesdelivering the Greensand Phase 2 offshore CO2 injection monitoring pilot in adepleted oil reservoir offshore Denmark as well, and in parallel, the maturationof commercial scale Greensand CO2 Offshore Transport and Safe Storage Projectstowards a potential sanctioning as early as 2024. In addition, as Head of CCS,developing the INEOS Energy CCS business in Denmark currently including thematuration of the Greenport Scandinavia CO2 Hub in Port of Hirtshals as well asthe exploration and development efforts related to the newly awarded onshore CO2storage site, GreenStore, in Denmark.
