Sarah Arntz is the Business Manager CC(U)S at the Port of Rotterdam. In this role, she is responsible for developing the Port of Rotterdam as a CO2 hub, facilitating the collection of captured CO2 streams for storage or reuse.
This initiative aims to decarbonize both the Rotterdam industrial cluster and clusters in North West Europe to achieve climate goals, by supporting the development of an international CCS network.
Within the Port of Rotterdam, Sarah has contributed to the implementation of shore power for visiting vessels and the concept development of hydrogen production plots based on offshore wind.
Previously, Sarah served as Chief Operations at a cleantech startup specializing in solar panel and battery technologies. She holds a degree in Industrial Design Engineering with a focus on Strategy and Innovation from the Technical University of Delft.
