Paul Davies is currently a director of 7CO2: The Severnside Carbon Capture and Shipping Hub, he is the Carbon Capture and Storage adviser to energy from waste company, Viridor, and adviser to the Coalition for Negative Emissions, focused on developing the carbon removals market.
With over 35 years’ experience in infrastructure, Paul was a project finance banker at HSBC and then for over 20 years an infrastructure partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
In carbon capture, he formed and led the CCS Advisory Group; the industry group that recommended the current regulated and CfD business models to Government and is now leading the CCSA working group to develop Non Pipeline Transportation; the rail and shipping of CO2 from dispersed sites to geological storage.
