Carbon Catalyst

Nick is co-founder of Carbon Catalyst, a dynamic and independent UK company focused exclusively on providing innovative Carbon Capture and Storage solutions for mass decarbonisation. Established in 2020, the company has built a portfolio of high-quality carbon transport and storage projects across the North Sea region.

Nick is also co-Chair of the Subsurface Task Force, an independent forum of subsurface experts, scientists and senior professionals in industry and academia, collaborating with regulators, policy makers and other key stakeholders towards an orderly transition to Net Zero 2050. 

Previously, he was Managing Director of North Sea operator Azinor Catalyst, Exploration Director at US independent Endeavour Energy, board member of Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) and President of the Geoscience Energy Society of Great Britain (GESGB)

Nick holds an MSc in Petroleum Geoscience from Imperial College London and is currently undertaking an Executive MBA at Said Business School, University of Oxford.
