Nick Forrest leads Baringa's Policy, Regulation and Economics team. He supports developers, regulators and policy makers on wider market development and specific infrastructure projects. He advised BEIS on the economic regulation model and economic case for SZC, a CCS T&S provider in Track 1, a power CCS generator on a Track 1 expansion bid, as well as offshore wind and hydro projects. He has extensive regulation experience having worked on over 20 price controls. Nick has a particular expertise in infrastructure and regulatory finance, having provided expert testimony on 10 occasions. He was previously PwC's chief economist and Director of Analysis at BEIS.
