Matthew Taylor is a Deputy Director in the UK government’s Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. As well as being responsible for developing the framework for delivery of CCUS beyond 2030, Matthew is responsible for the design and development of the economic model to support the establishment of CO2 Transport and Storage networks in the UK, including both legislative and commercial elements.  Matthew has worked in several energy related policy areas, including nuclear power, offshore wind, biomass, marine energy, electricity retail markets and international engagement on related energy policy matters. Matthew has an MBA from Warwick Business School.
