Ian Cook is a global energy business leader who is currentlythe Head of Hydrogen Business Development for SSE. Ian is focused on developingnew hydrogen production projects in his current role, considering both blue andgreen hydrogen technologies. Before his current role, Ian was the Head of UKPower Business development for SSE Thermal and worked as a Commercial Managerwith SSE Distributed Energy, developing heat and electricity networks and EVand battery projects. Before joining SSE, Ian worked for eight years for theengineering and technology provider NOV and lived in the USA and Norway,delivering projects across the globe. Ian is a Chartered Chemical Engineer withan MEng from The University of Edinburgh and an MBA from Imperial CollegeLondon.
