Greg Williams is head of External Affairs and Procurement at Evero. Greg has had a varied career in oil and gas, manufacturing and renewables, in the UK and the middle east. He now leads Evero’s external affairs activity, which includes government relations. Greg also chairs the CCSA’s task finish group on Greenhouse Gas Removals.
Evero is the developer of what could well be the UK’s first operational, commercial BECCS project at its Ince Biopower plant. Evero uses sustainable, locally sourced waste wood feedstock to deliver renewable energy into the grid. With carbon capture fitted to its plant, Evero will be able to deliver as much as 600,000 tons of GGRs a year towards the UK’s net zero ambitions.
