Gordon Hutcheson

Gordon leads Ofgem’s work across three Low Carbon Regulated Asset Base programmes – new nuclear, CCUS Transport and storage and hydrogen transport. At Ofgem he has previously worked on developing new regulatory regimes for onshore and offshore electricity transmission networks. Other regulatory roles he has held include working for Owat on various on the PR19 price control, and supporting the BBC’s transition to independent regulation under Ofcom. Prior to working in regulation Gordon worked as a management consultant, specialising in the energy sector.
