Emilien Gasc is the counsellor for climate, environment andenergy at the Delegation of the European Union to the United Kingdom. Hefollows the implementation of the Brexit treaties as regards the environmentallevel-playing field, and liaises with UK civil servants and stakeholders. Hewas previously based in Brussels with the European Commission’s SecretariatGeneral, working on delivery of the European Green Deal, and before that withthe Environment and Employment services respectively.
Before joining the European Union institutions, Emilien wasa consultant with the International Energy Agency and a policy advocate for theEuropean federation of independent consumer organisations. Emilien comes fromBrittany and is a graduate of Sciences Po Rennes and Paris in France.
