Dr Sam Lowe CChem

Sam obtained a first class degree in Chemistry followed byan industrially focussed PhD in polymers and materials at the University ofWarwick. Sam proceeded to spend 5 years inventing and developing hightemperature thermoplastic polymers for electronic, medical and aerospace applicationsfrom ideation through to scale up at Victrex. In 2021 Sam realised that hewanted to be part of driving fundamental change in the chemical industry toadopt renewable feedstocks to reduce Green House Gas emissions. In 2021 Sammoved to Unilever to engage in the Clean Future agenda, since then Sam hasacted as a project and programme manager in sustainability, developing lowerGHG supply chains and biodegradable materials.
