Denise Moylan is The Crown Estate’s CCS & HydrogenDirector. As manager of the seabed and much of the coastline around England,Wales and Northern Ireland, The Crown Estate is responsible for granting leasesfor offshore pipeline transportation, seabed and subsurface rights todevelopers for CO2 storage. Denise’s role involves working with the CCSindustry and stakeholders to realise the potential of CCS to support thenation's transition to an energy secure and decarbonised future. Her team worksacross the technical and commercial aspects of CCS, including considering whereThe Crown Estate can play a role in de-risking and accelerating CCS deployment.
Denise has a background in large programme andinfrastructure delivery. This includes roles on HS1 and, more recently, TheCrown Estate’s Celtic Sea Floating Offshore Wind Leasing Round 5, as welldelivery of a number of major UK Government programmes for various departments.
