Ben is an economist working in RWE Generation’s UK Strategy team. His role includes examining the future market and regulatory outlook for the UK wholesale electricity market for investment opportunities that will help fulfil RWE’s strategic aim of being climate neutral by 2040. He has over 25 years’ experience in the electricity industry in both retail and generation but always focusing on the impact of regulation and policy on market development, technologies and project delivery. His current focus is on helping shape an appropriate regulatory and market landscape that will enable RWE to decarbonise its 7GW fleet of CCGTs in the UK.
