As Business Development Manager at Interconnector Limited, Ayan is focused on delivering opportunities in energy transition across the UK and wider European energy markets. Interconnector is a natural gas transportation pipeline connecting the UK to north-west European gas markets. Ayan is responsible for identifying commercial opportunities in a highly dynamic and evolving market that will enable Interconnector to successfully navigate the energy transition landscape through the development of cross-border transportation of carbon and new energy vectors such as hydrogen.
Ayan has over 20 years’ experience in the energy industry. His previous roles have spanned multiple functions covering finance, market analysis, programme management and investment strategy. He has been instrumental in leading major business transformation programmes, shaping commercial and regulatory strategies and exploring M&A opportunities across the mid-stream segment of the gas value chain.
