Andrea is a policy officer for carbon removal at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Climate Action, working on advancing the policy agenda for carbon removals. 

Before joining the European Commission, Andrea built the policy arm of Carbon Gap, a new European climate not-for-profit focused on unlocking the potential of carbon removal. Prior to that, Andrea worked as an advisor to global companies on European technology policy and geopolitics, with a specific focus on emerging technologies. She also advised the President of Croatia on foreign policy. 

Andrea holds a Master of Public Policy from Oxford University, and a Master and a Bachelor degree from Sciences Po Paris.
